HIM-Dark Light Record Design

Concept for a live version of HIM’s Dark Light album. I drew inspiration from the band’s past records and their use of a specific color for each release, and since Dark Light used light blue for their studio album this was the best choice for the live record design.. The album’s name and somber sound, inspired me to create a cover that depicts a more intimate setting. Finally, each record displays the iconic “Heartagram” in a unique way, so I decided to lean on the record’s name and place it as if it was being cast by one of the spotlights on stage.
